[Addalicia, 23/06/2011] This hotel has a perfect location and a perfect view. Service is pretty good and it's very affordable for the its quality.
I recommend this to anyone visiting Cascais.
[hidalgo256, 14/06/2011] We booked a table two days in advance. On arriving for our 20.30 booking, there were no floor staff on the floor to meet us. When we were finally taken to our table the wine menu was unavailable as it was at another table - appatently there was only one wine menu for the entire restaurant. We ordered the tasting menu at 21.00 - not because we were having an aperitif but because the waiter didn't come near us until then. The food is of 5 star standard in an ambience comforting and feeling like a home from home

[Praskipark, 15/04/2009] Cascais is the next town to Estoril on Lisbon's coast. You can't really visit Estoril without visiting Cascais although they are very different in style. They go together like coffee and cream. Where Estoril has all the grandeur of the Golden Age of Portugal, Cascais is still a working resort.
It is believed the name Cascais is from the plural of the word Cascais which means shells, probably referring to the piles of empty shells on the beaches.
