[dbest4music, 01/05/2012] The room was spacious, clean, good facilities. The breakfast / restaurant area was clean, the food was very good.
[welshmatt123, 05/04/2012] Excellent stay - staff were really helpful and polite. Room was spot on! Everything I expected and more! Great price, great location and great staff! Excellent!
[welshmatt123, 05/04/2012] Terrible staff and terrible service. Room was as expected for the cost but felt really uneasy throughout the stay.
[nam2505, 29/01/2012] I have recently stayed at the Future Inn, Cardiff Bay on several occasions on business. On each occasion I have found it to be comfortable with well-proportioned, clean and well-equipped rooms (including TV, internet access, DVD player). The hotel staff have been consistently friendly and helpful.
On each of my 3 most recent visits I have availed of room-service and found that although the menu is somewhat limited the food has been of a reasonable standard with good sized-portions and in every case delivered to the room very promptly (typically within 20 minutes of ordering). Breakfast is serv

[lauraliscious, 09/03/2011] Me and my boyfriend stayed here recently and it was FANTASTIC.
once you are inside the doors you don't even feel like you're in Cardiff. Its warm, bright and just has a sense of holiday about it.
The room was amazing with a gorgeous view!! the bed was so so so comfy!!!
we absolutely loved the pool facilities!!
we will definitely be staying there again it was worth every penny!!!
[BIGRON, 06/03/2011] This hotel has obviously had a lot of money spent on it recently and the restaurant had only just launched with a 2 Michelin starred chef Martin Bluno, The highlight was definately the food and it is amazing value for the quality you have to give it a try. Centrally located so a bit noisy but overall great experience.
[vbolanou, 15/02/2011] In the north of Cardiff, where Coch castle lies magnificently in between green and huge trees, starts a wonderful path, where you can cycle through trees and in the most way, next to the river Taf. It is a distance of approx 15 km to the other side of the city, passing through Bute park, and leading to Cardiff Bay. It is an ideal route for cyclists and hikers. You will see people lying in the grass in warm summer days, as well as little squirrels running around. Really clean and peaceful atmosphere, it is highly reccomendable.
[auraobie, 01/06/2010] After wandering up and down St Mary's street, Cardiff several times, suitcases-a -tow, trying to find this hotel, we were beginning to get frustrated and flustered. Suddenly, we spotted it, a tiny narrow buiding, with a tiny sign indicating that this was the Royal Hotel. We trudged to the entrance, somewhat disappointed with the £140 price tag for a single night stay! However, after being buzzed in (an impressive and comforting security feature, albeit slightly annoying to us smokers) we were greeted in an impressive lobby and shown to a rather swanky room! The hotel, was lovely and comfortabl

[auraobie, 01/06/2010] A day spent at Cardiff bay is a day well spent. It is a beautiful paradox of nature and architecture which suit one another perfectly. As you look out accross the bay, you may be lucky enough (as we were) to witness the pale, low winter sun sparkle on the water's surface, punctuated on your left by a beautiful white wooden building that is the Nordic Church and tea room where Roald Dahl was baptised, and on your right by the hugely practical waterfront promenade, filled with cafes, amusements and museums which mean that you really could spend an entire day here. Also worth a visit are the mill

[auraobie, 01/06/2010] We visited Cardiff in January 2008, and the first attraction we visited was the castle. Where you can pay for a guided tour of the grounds or simply wander around of your own accord for a smaller price. The most amazing part of the castle is the Norman part of the castle raised upon the Motte. It is really haunting to step inside where the only light comes from the tiny narrow windows, and you can truly fancy yourself to be part of this era or chivalry - knights and damsels as you make your way to the top of the castle, up uneven brick steps where the stone crumbles beneath one's feet. When at

[tartlette, 24/09/2009] Recently Mr Tart and myself headed to Cardiff to see Michael McIntyre in the International Arena. We had planned to use one of Martin Moneysavingexpert’s to for one deals at a restaurant before the show but due to traffic and parking issues we got there late. Cardiff has changed a lot recently and despite being a former local I couldn’t work out how to get to the restaurants that we wanted as they had planted a massive multi-story where the road used to be. We didn’t have enough time to find another route to it so we headed for the nearest restaurant that could seat us and this happened to

[TheDaz, 31/12/2008] Located right at one end of the downtown shopping area, just across from the Castle, and a stones throw from the Millennium Stadium - the Hilton is very conveniently placed.
As with all Hiltons - the standard of service is excellent, the rooms are top notch and the staff bend over backwards to be helpful and polite.
7 stories high - not too big then - with a very nice restaurant and bar on the ground floor, the hotel has a mix of standard and business rooms. The standard rooms were very well finished and perfectly acceptable - the bonus being a walk in shower area with wet room floor and

[j_jones9999, 19/11/2008] Stayed for 2 nights on business in Cardiff, usually hate travelling but the easy going owner and style of hotel made the stay feel like I was at home. Bar was a really nice, with Pizza's that still play on my mind today, delicious. Over all conclusion nice place with a lovely manner to it.
[mouette, 09/11/2005] In September 2005 we went to see the Stereophonics play in Cardiff and wanting to be able to take some time to look around Cardiff (recommended to all) we decided to book hotel for a Friday and Saturday night. After a quick Internet search we settled on MacDonald Holland House.
We were quoted £98 for the Friday and £126 for the Saturday for a Superior Room with breakfast included. The Superior room is in fact the starting room, if you want a little more luxury you can choose from a Club Room, a Kings Suite or even the Presidential Suite. There are 160 rooms in total.
The Hotel was ve

[derek-a, 21/10/2005] If you like seeing how country people lived out their lives from yester-year, you could do no better than pay a visit to St. Fagan's Museum about 5 miles west of Cardiff. Set in around 100 acres of parkland, I feel this museum to be unique, although being Welsh, I may be a little biased!
You would need to be prepared to spend several hours or even an entire day here because there is so much to see in the grounds and it is constantly being added to. What follows are the features I found particularly interesting
. St Fagan's Castle is an Elizabethan manor house built within the walls of a
