Located right at one end of the downtown shopping area, just across from the Castle, and a stones throw from the Millennium Stadium - the Hilton is very conveniently placed.
As with all Hiltons - the standard of service is excellent, the rooms are top notch and the staff bend over backwards to be helpful and polite.
7 stories high - not too big then - with a very nice restaurant and bar on the ground floor, the hotel has a mix of standard and business rooms. The standard rooms were very well finished and perfectly acceptable - the bonus being a walk in shower area with wet room floor and super soaking shower head for luxury relaxation.
The top floor (or was it not? the lift just took me there) - has a small gym and a shallow, stainless steel clad pool with adjacent jacuzzis. Very swish.
As usual - you can only really justify a Hilton stay if they run an offer - in this case it was £99 per person for 2 nights B&B with dinner on the 1st night - which is a spiffing deal really.

Nice upper floor view of the Castle, well thought out room with inoffensive decor and a large and comfortable bed.
