The Artscape, formerly known as Nico Malan, is conveniently located on the Foreshore of Cape Town and presents an ongoing series of theatrical productions, operas, music festivals, art exhibitions and live shows. A detailed calendar of forthcoming shows is provided at the websitem, and tickets can be obtained from Computicket, the box office at the theatre (which opens one hour before a show commences) and also via 'dial-a-seat', which is open Monday to Friday 09h00 - 17h00 and 09h00 - 12h30 on Saturdays. The premises include a restaurant and function rooms, as well as various auditoriums such as the cabaret-style On The Side theatre, the informal Arena and the Opera House which seats 1187 persons. Wheelchair access is limited and there is ample parking. |
