It is located in an Edwardian building which has been proclaimed a National Monument in 1990 and visitors who wish to view the premises are advised to make an appointment in advance. The central hall houses a selection of books by local publishers, which can be browsed by visitors. The venue is also used for seminars and can be hired for corporate events.
