Description:	Each November sees the screening of various films, both international and locally produced, at the Cinema Nouveau as part of the Cape Town World Cinema Festival which had its inception in 2003. Various other venues are also utilised and the focus is on film making in Africa, although entries from more than 25 countries are shown. There are also workshops and related activities for children, discussion panels and a gala awards evening.
