[sydney_b, 19/09/2011] As there are many nice shops and restaurants on Kloof Street, I was not surprised to find that The Opal Lounge was yet another good find. I was surprised however, at just how good it was! The restaurant, which deems itself "Cape Town's most beautiful restaurant" did in fact present some of the most beautifully arranged, melt-in-your-mouth dishes I've ever seen / tasted. That said, I was not as impressed by the restaurant's decor. The dishes presentation were extremely modern and minimalistic, however the restaurant itself felt outdated and a bit formal.
