BaaBar's nightclub is located directly opposite Canterbury East train station, which is about a 5 minute walk from the City Centre.
BaaBar's is the largest nightclub in Canterbury's and is spread across three floors which each floor having a different type of music playing. Each room also has its own name.
BaaBars
BaaBar's is on the ground floor and is open 7 days a week. In here, they play chart music. On this level there is a large dance floor and plenty of seating areas including tables and chairs, stalls at the bar and comfortable leather sofas. In the middle of the room there is a massive plasma screen TV and most sporting games such as Cricket, Football and Rugby are shown here. There are also 14 smaller TVs which means that everyone can watch the game no matter where they are sitting. There are two small bars on this level each serving a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.
Downstairs from this level are the males and female toilets for BaaBars and to the left of the toilets is the cloakroom where you can leave you coats and bags for the price of £1 per item.
The Works is located on the second floor and the music in here is R&B. This floor is only open on Friday and Saturday nights and always seems to be very popular. There is a small bar to the left of the dance floor as you walk in; again this serves a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. There are also toilets as you enter the room, located behind the dance floor. The dance floor is fairly small in the room, certainly the smallest of the three areas but there is still plenty of room for everyone to get up and have a dance.
There are seating areas each side of the dance floor and these consist of tables and chairs.
The Bizz is on the top floor and in here the DJ plays R&B and Hip Hop music. This is only open on Saturday nights and again, is always busy. This room is the same size as the ground floor with a large bar down the left hand side as you walk in. There are seating areas over to the right hand side, and the dance floor is in the middle. There is also a smaller bar over to the right hand side near the back of the seating area.
Entrance
Entrance is for over 18s only and will cost £5 per person. You ticket includes entry to all the floors.
