According to the author the hotel is "luxury" and "the most inviting" in Cancun because of its "refined" and "welcoming sense of personal service". The lobby and reception area are "intimate" and the concierge service is "the best" in Cancun". It makes the guests "feel immediately pampered". The hotel is "relatively small" and is more like "elegant boutique" hotel which makes it "a welcome relief". The design of the hotel and the rooms is "classy and comforting" and "not overdone". Rooms are "generous in size", and most of them have "small" balconies with view "to the pool" and " the ocean".
