Situated right next to the Casino Canberra and the National Convention Centre, the Crowne Plaza offers "user-friendly" and "comfortable" rooms with either "queen-size" or double beds. They have "internal balconies" which overlook the restaurant, except for the doubles with park views. Although the front access to the hotel is "inconvenient for pedestrians", out the back there are gardens for "early-morning strolls". According to Frommers "weekend rates drop dramatically" so they suggest to visit their website before booking. They rate the Crowne Plaza two out of three stars, very highly recommending it.
