[more]Campello sul Clitunno, known for its famous Clitunno springs, rises almost surreal in dense and lush olive groves. A traditional Umbrian farmhouse in a peaceful and charming position on the slopes of the hill is the Marfuga Holiday Farm, which boasts "4 Spighe" for quality.
Recently remodelled by Francesco and Federica, the holiday house is part of the farmstead along with 30 hectares of olive groves and an oil mill that produces the celebrated Marfuga PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) extravirgin olive oil.
Its location is ideal for going on daytrips to the region's most fascinating towns: Spoleto, Montefalco, Spello, Assisi, Todi, Perugia, Gubbio and Orvieto. The decoration echoes the old Umbrian style, so that guests perceive the special atmosphere of being in the heart of Umbria.
The apartments are furnished with a small kitchen and equipped with cutlery, kitchenware, bedding and bathware, as well as a courtesy basket of organic olive oil products. The salt water swimming pool is surrounded by a splendid view that extends from Spoleto to the Clitunno Springs. The facilities also include a tennis court.
