[weetoon, 08/12/2007] At 352 metres, Beinn Ghuilean dominates the little town of Campbeltown. That may not sound very high, but it is certainly high enough to offer commanding views of the Kintyre peninsula. It is also high enough to offer a relatively challenging walk, with a series of fairly steep climbs.
Although the path is fully managed, you need decent footwear for this walk, as parts of it can be a little muddy and the start of the walk is accessed through fields. Once you get to the start, follow the signposts and there is no way of getting lost really. You will need to look out for cyclists though

[weetoon, 08/12/2007] A decent cup of coffee is probably something most of us take for granted, however, it seems that in Argyll and Bute it is as difficult to find as the Holy Grail. I have been served instant coffee in a coffee pot in a hotel in the past, where the coffee powder hadn't been properly mixed with the water. If you manage to get a cup of ‘non-instant coffee', its likely that it is filter coffee that has stewed for hours on the hot plate.
