Craigard House is an imposing mansion overlooking Campbeltown Loch. Originally built for a Whisky Distiller and his family, the house has been completely renovated over the last twelve years and turned into a bijou 13 bedroom hotel. The outstanding Italianate Architecture is a pleasure in itself.
Each room is individually designed and tastefully furnished, with comfy beds, huge fluffy towels, and fully tiled bathrooms with bathtub and shower. Most rooms have sea view, and there is a choice of single, double, twin / family or four poster Master Bedroom. Free WiFi and a guest PC and printer add to the amenities for guests.
The Lochside Restaurant is memorable both for its wonderful sea view and the sumptuous a la Carte Menu - featuring many local specialities including seafood, shellfish, meat, produce and game. Single Malt Whisky dominates the spirit list, with Campbeltown favourites Glen Scotia and many Springbank expressions alongside options from all over the Highlands and Lowlands. The comprehensive wine list offers choices from the old and new world, with something for everyone.
