[stewart1951, 02/03/2010] We stayed here for two nights because of the extraordinary cheap rate on offer for half board in October.
Hotel was excellent, modern, clean, almost empty, but the food was good for the price paid.
Cambrils, in October anyway, is a charming resort, very Spanish and not at all like its near neighbour Salou.
Would definately use again.
[diogenesp, 26/11/2008] This apartment building is located in Vilafortuny, a Cambrils district between this town and Salou. It is a frontbeach building with beautiful views.
I have one of this apartments on sale in my Real state Agency and I´m going to explain you what is this like: the apartment has two double bedrooms, a dining room with american kitchen and a full bathroom, the terrace is not very big but has a wonderfull views. The building has a parking area. Be sure that tha apartment you rent has a parking because in summer is impossible to find a place in the area.
The main advantage of the building is that

[diogenesp, 24/11/2008] When you heard about Cambrils you think in a mediterranean town full of tourism, beaches and paella. But it worths to go uptown, far from the beach an discover the old town of Cambrils that is full of life.
In the center of the town, besides shops, we can find peculiar things like this museum, that was the old wine cellar, and now exhibits the machinery and equipment of work that were used for the elaboration of wine and olive oil. The building is very nice, and always make me thinking what is the reason because nowadays nobody designs this kind of buildings for industrial use.

The tower was built in in the 17th century, to defend Cambrils from the attack of pirates. This is the reason of one of its names: Torre de los moros , Tower of the Moors. You have to notice that the old town or the main town of Cambrils is two kilometres far from the coast, in the 17th century, there were only fishermen houses in this part of the town, so they needed this kind of towers to take care of the town people. This in not th

[NienhuisE, 03/02/2008] One of the last places we stayed during our Europe road trip was Cambrils Park campsite where we visit our parents.
After a road trip of 2.300 km we thought it was time to take a rest for a 2 weeks before continue our trip up north. When arriving at this campsite we noticed that it won't be a problem. The nice ambiance with all those beautiful flowers really feels you're arriving in a tropical place.
[NienhuisE, 30/12/2007] Who ever thought that I would write a review about a beach. Well normally I don't but because we stayed for 2 weeks in Cambrils and visit this beach almost every day, I think we have seen every single piece of the sand. No serious this is a nice and clear beach and must be visited when you're in Cambrils.
The only thing that should improve is the parking space for cars. Because the houses are build directly to the beach separated by a bike road, it's difficult to park your car close to the beach. If you find a parking area between the houses you can only park a few cars. As soon as you rea
