Stayed at this hotel on Thursday 24th Nov 11. Absolutely brilliant accomodation for the price charged and the breakfast was more than fulfilling. We used this hotel just as a place to bed down for the night as visiting a sick relative in a nearby hospital and all the staff we ecountered were very friendly and nothing appeared to be too much bother for them. As I said the breakfast was fab and included in the booking price. The lady doing the breakfasts was an absolute star. apologising 3 times for taking too long to serve the main cooked part!! I've never come across anyone who apologises for not putting the food straight in front of you. By the way, she only took 10 minutes from when the order was taken!! That gave me just about enough time to drink my juice, eat my cereal before the main cooked event turned up. If you are looking for a straight forward no hassle overnight stay, I would definately recommend this hotel and if I'm back in the area, this will be my first choice over any of the big names. ( don't forget, the big names charge you for brekky!! this doesn't )
The room itself was a single en-suite and was surprised to find a double bed. Lovely finishes of Tea and Coffee with kettle, tv and clock radio. A towel also supplied for the shower. Again some places charge for towels.
Really happy we chose to stay here and as I say, will be back if I find myself in the area again.
