A lovely, character filled hotel in the heart on Cambridge city centre. Just watch out for the car parking.

Well laid out rooms, with en suite facilities. My room had a Sky TV, a hairdryer, which worked but was not very powerful, tea and coffee making facilities. It also had an iron and an ironing board, which was very useful. It was clean, smelt nice and was immaculate. There is a good range of different types of rooms, including single, double, family and executive. There is also one suite.

The staff could not be faulted. They were friendly, efficient and very eager to help. The bar was reasonably priced for a hotel, and opens directly onto the grounds behind the hotel. The bar was clean, and again the staff were friendly and well mannered in the bar.

Car parking is charged at £12 a day, but you cannot be guaranteed a space. The spaces are very tight, and I found that the car had been completely blocked in when I came to leave.
