[Mikesh, 10/11/2011] This is the most commercialized beach of Goa. The street leading to the back in closed for cars, due to the number of people that are found walking in the area. The entire lane till the beach is full of bars, pubs and clubs. The entire beach has snacks, which play some music. All these shacks serve alcohol and food and some even serve some sheesha. The beach is full with a lot of foreigners and Indian tourist. There are also a lot of touts selling water sports, massages, hena tattoos, come beachy beads and chains and other electronic items. The beach is nice and big and they have chairs and b

[Mikesh, 03/11/2011] This is by far the best shack on Baga in terms of ambiance music and service. The prices are slightly higher than the other shacks(about Rs10-20 higher for a drink compared to cheapest snack) but still not very expensive . They have the best trance music on the beach. After sunburn(december and before new years) they have Dj's playing live music there(Nihil Chinappa and a few others). They attract the best shack crowd on Baga. They are also open till late(probably all night and day) as we left the place at 5am once.
[Mikesh, 03/11/2011] One of the best bars at Baga. They have a cover charge during peak season(Rs 300ish) but during non peak season they have offers of buy 1 get 1 free. The crowd here is the best to be found on the entire road mainly with foreigners. The outside area is open air where the main bar is. The inside area is the dance floor. The Dj plays really good music. The staff is very nice here. I was here with 2 girls and there was a group of guys passing cheap comments about the girls. On hearing the comments one of the staff members went called his boss. His boss seeing the other crowd told his staff how th

[tsmith, 18/09/2011] this hotel was amazing. the staff are so nice and its has such a good vibe. the only thing i would comment negatively about is the free breakfast you get some hard cold toast and a horrible juice cup. its a cheaply priced hotel so you would think it wouldnt be very nice but as i said it was amazing. you can get your money changed at the hotel at a good rate, and there are always taxis out the front of the hotel so you can get to town quickly and cheaply if you cant be bothered to walk. the rooms are nice, beds are pretty comfy you have a balcony and cleaners tidy the room every day.
[Mikesh, 13/04/2011] This hotel is a good budget hotel during the peak season, when everyone charges really high rates and they are pretty reasonable. When going to the hotel it is advised to take directions from the website and a lot of people don't know here it is. The hotel is ok looking, rooms and bathrooms are clean. The staff friendly and nice. The food is very average(more towards the bad side) and would eat only if you need to. The front of the hotel looks a little shabby(needs some work and painting), so dont get scared by the 1st impression. About a 10 minute walk there is a nice place to eat on Baga roa

[Mikesh, 06/03/2011] This hotel first used to be combined with Ronil which is next door so do not get confused, the rooms are similar(a little small) and the pool small, location is fantastic(right near the main Baga road) staff friendly .
[rancy, 28/07/2010] we stayed in Gabriel guest house for couple of nights, rooms were clean and tidy..beach is close to the guest house. Gabriel guest house is a home for budget travelers, it is runed by the friendly family and the food was excellent.we will definitely visit Gabriel guest house again.
[abicash, 24/10/2009] We had fair amount of expectation after taking a look at the resort.I had visited with my wife and my one year old.The staff is lethargic and hostile, the rooms are miniscule and so is the pool.My kid soiled the bed cover with tea to which we were given advice by the staff and the owner how not to raise a child!!We were willing to pay for the damages and that these people forced out anyway from us.Food from the restaurant is average. While checking out we were asked where the hotel towels were, humiliating us,since they had hastily searched without looking in the cupboards where they were.In fact
