[Suzie50, 28/02/2009] The Sheraton Dreamland takes 2 hours to reach from the airport and is more than an hour away from Cairo and the pyramids. Upgrade to a club room for $40 a night as it more than covers the cost of breakfast. Club upgrades have free breakfast, lunchtime open sandwiches, hot snacks from 5-8pm and free alcoholic drinks between 5 & 7pm. Two small glasses of wine cost £18 in bars and dinner is around £24 per person. Although there are 5 restaurants open most close at dusk.
If you want views of the pyramids don't stay here - they are obscured by the rides at the theme park.

[AndrewPo, 08/11/2008] This hotel is in a wonderful location for visiting the Pyramids. Some rooms even have a view and the Pyramids can be seen from just outside the hotel. The rooms are reasonably comfortable, but the hotel has very little character, nor anything else to recommend it apart from its excellent location.
[petarm, 04/10/2008] Vrey friendly staff, good food, clean and quiet room, nice svimming pul (working from 10am to sunset). Im satisfied with Zoser Hotel. Petar Milosavljevic (10-17.september 2008.)
[derryguy, 25/08/2008] One of the most impressive days out in Egypt the ancient Pyramids of Giza will take your breath away, situated up a plateau above the city of Giza, the Pyramids dominate the skyline, but there are just not three Pyramids here there a number of smaller pyramids that you can visit along with a museum that holds an ancient long boat that was unearthed up on the Giza Plateau alongside one of the mighty Pyramids of Giza.
This is a remarkable site with plenty to see but is not for those that are not so able bodied, sadly access is very limited in places and as with many sites around Egypt you do co

[derryguy, 25/08/2008] One of my favorite excursions whilst is Egypt is that to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, although this again can be a long day for those travelling from cities such as Hurghada it is one museum that is worth a visit, it must be noted that photography within the museum in not permitted, although on my last visit I did not a number of visitors doing so this very unfair as it has been know to cause damage to some of the artifacts.
Within the museum there is the famed exhibition to to Tutankhamun including his death mask that is made from solid gold, you will also find exhibits to most of the famou

[gracy2008, 19/06/2008] i would not reccommend to stay at this hotel. rooms are overpriced and a little shabby .shower is also cramped for 68 U.S.dollars you would expect a little more.
owner of hotel was nice until i reported to her that £80GBP was stolen from my hotel room. she became very aggressive and was shouting in my face stating that her staff would not recognise what british pounds look like, yeah right. very unprofessional i do not think this is the sort of behaviour that one would expect from someone trying to run a hotel. if you do have to stay here beware and watch your valuables.
[Gina, 26/05/2008] Staying here was definitely a "high point" for my trip to Cairo; the hotel Indiana was a pleasant surprise.
Our room was spacious, very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bathroom was large, clean with hot water all day long. The location of the hotel is very central, with easy access to the Egyptian Museum, Cairo opera house and Downtown. All the staff is very warming and caring and helpful. There was internet access available, in a quiet atmosphere, and at a very reasonable price.
We had the opportunity to have dinner at the Indiana hotel roof top terrace, on our last night there, and this w

[trivago traveller, 21/03/2008] Only the view was nice...
And Mohammeds wife Ruth. The bathroom was dirty. The location was pretty far away from everything. The unfriendly and unsociable host Mohammed was our biggest disappointment. To busy looking after himself instead of looking after his guests.
[David, 29/12/2007] The airport
My first impression and surprise is how small this airport is for such a giant touristic place as Cairo is. The port is not the most modern and clean I have seen, but compare with the rest of the town its the best possible .
Police and visas
I saw many policemen in their white uniforms and our tour guide told its normal and we better stay into the group. Our visas were arranged at the airport very fast and were cost about 15 USD.
We were taken by the hotel's bus, but I saw many taxis and buses waiting on a huge parking.
When I tried to take picture from the airports

[kerrieom, 17/12/2007] There is so much to see at the Egyptian Museum you probably need a few days there. The Tutankhamun stuff is incredible. You really need to go with a guide though, there is so much you will never know what to see or where it is. Go there as one of the last things on your trip because you will have learnt about alot of the artciles there during your visits to the famous sites in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan.
[kerrieom, 17/12/2007] The Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids was great fun. Its not a serious history lesson of Egypt, but it was entertaining nonetheless. The Sphinx narrates the story and its worth going if only see the Pyramids all lit up and to see a face on the Sphinx. It's pretty loud so might scare young kids, but otherwise its a good family activity.
[ausdot, 01/06/2007] So you're in Cairo and you've seen the Pyramids in daylight. If you want a different perspective, the Sound and Light Show gives you a chance to see them illuminated in the darkness of evening.
The Show is presented in a different language at each timeslot, so when booking, make sure you choose a showing in a language you can understand!
The Show consists of a recorded commentary which tells the story of the Egyptians. The commentary is illustrated by still images (photos and illustrations) projected on to the wall of the temple. At key points in the narrative, one or more of the

[Anitrivago, 14/12/2006] I was very nicely surprised from the hotel. I would recommend it to anybody who wants visiting Cairo. Have a very good breakfast and go to sightseeing all day. Its not expensive but in the same time clean and cozy with large comfortable rooms. The souvenir shops into hotel sell cheaper than the shops on the tourist streets (check the prices inside before to go on tour). Its very close to the Tower and the city center.
Check the phone prices before to use it as well the internet .
