Cairo is a city with many beautiful sights. The hotel is located downtown near the river Nile and is a very good location. The room had all amenities. Furniture - luxury and style. Definitely worth the price. Staff is always friendly and courteous. The rooms are constantly kept clean. Dining options are according to your preferences. I liked the diversity of food. Walk organized by the hotel on the Nile impress us much. My family and I spend an exciting week full of challenges offered by the hotel and the city.

[dangaroo, 20/03/2011] Getting There:
The airport is located 15km from the central area in the North East, just after Heliopolis. If there's no traffic it should take you about 20 or 30 minutes but traffic is pretty common and it could therefore take you at least an hour, a taxi to the airport should cost no more than 30 Egyptian pounds but some people will try to charge you as much as 200!
Arriving at the airport is quite a different experience from departing there and you may find that someone already has hold of your luggage in an attempt for you to go with them in their taxi or simply to carry it for some bac

[Milen_I, 04/07/2010] The Zoser Hotel widely marketed as 5 star hotel was a bit of a disappointment. The rooms were average in size and not overly clean. Service and food were below average. Only breakfast was so so and mainly because you chouse what to eat :)
Pool is always in the shade and the water is never heated.
The only good thing about the place was its easy location to acces the pyramids.

[garymarsh6, 24/09/2009] The Egyptian Museum Cairo.
We visited the Museum in Cairo one afternoon and in fact you could probably spend a couple of days here as there is so much to see. The museum is housed in a building of great halls built by the French in 1908. The halls are absolutely massive and the security is quite tight here obviously because of the vast collection of priceless treasures and also because of the threat to tourists. Before you enter the Museum you have to go through a scanner to make sure you are not armed or carrying something you should not be carrying. All bags have to go through an x-ray

Before heading off to Egypt on my holiday I did a little bit of reading to prepare myself for my trip and I was really surprised to learn there are in fact 93 pyramids found throughout Eygpt. When you speak to people about the pyramids most people think of the three great Pyramids at Giza visualising them on the outskirts of Cairo.
I was aware that there were other pyramids and had heard about the first pyramid at Saqqara which really did not look like the pyramids that we think about but were rather step pyramids or burial mounds. It was also true that the

This is a five star garden hotel within sight of the magnificent pyramids of Giza. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Cairo approximately one mile from the pyramids and it would be easy to walk to and they are an amazing sight to see. That being said it is about 8 miles into the centre of Cairo through the most horrendous traffic I have ever seen. The Mövenpick group are a Swiss operated hotel chain and have 65 hotels throughout the world.
The main lobby consists of a vast open space which includes a check in facility, bank and a souvenir shop. It

[spinage, 01/09/2009] Staying at the Longchamps was indeed pleasant and confirmed the good reputation and comments on that hotel. Very nice rooms, individually designed, great service and product overall and certainly above expectations in comparison to other 3 star hotels in Cairo.
[Suzie50, 28/02/2009] The Sheraton Dreamland takes 2 hours to reach from the airport and is more than an hour away from Cairo and the pyramids. Upgrade to a club room for $40 a night as it more than covers the cost of breakfast. Club upgrades have free breakfast, lunchtime open sandwiches, hot snacks from 5-8pm and free alcoholic drinks between 5 & 7pm. Two small glasses of wine cost £18 in bars and dinner is around £24 per person. Although there are 5 restaurants open most close at dusk.
If you want views of the pyramids don't stay here - they are obscured by the rides at the theme park.
On the plus side sta
