Located on the 5th and 6th floors within the building of 21 Ismail Mohamed Street. the little boutique hotel Longchamps is ideally located within the quiet and upscale area of Zamalek in Cairo. Not only are the key city sights like the Egyptian Museum, the Khan El Khalili and the Al-Azhar Mosque within easy reach of the hotel but also the majority of the numerous international embassies, private schools and institutions Zamalek is the preferred area for.
The owner Ms. Hebba Bakri has completely remodelled the hotel after she has taken it over from her mother - a well known theatre personality in Egypt - who established the hotel in 1953.
Today the hotel enjoys an excellent reputation locally and internationally for its personalized service, cleanliness and great value for money. Thanks to the tireless dedication of the owner the hotel product and services are constantly adjusted towards the ever changing needs of its valued guests. Airport Limousine transfer:
One way transfer inclusive airport tax at L.E. 85.— per car maximum 3 persons (rate valid as of Sept 2009).
Airport pick-up must be ordered latest 72 hours prior to arrival, indicating flight number and Cairo arrival time. Pick-up transfers are only accepted with credit card pre-payment, departure transfers by credit card payment or cash prior departure. Transfer time approx. 01 hour depending on traffic situation.
Laundry & Dry Cleaning: Laundry which is received at the reception until 08.30 a.m. will be delivered the same day until 07.00 p.m. except Sundays.
Hotel computer with free WLAN Internet Access is available within the lobby area: Stay in touch whilst away from home. In case you do not have your own laptop you can make use of the hotel computer in the lobby area.
