The rooms were great - excellent size unlike the new hotels which are the size of a shoe box and a decent siize bathroom too. The rooms have all got balconies which were big enough for us both to sit out on and look out at the sea.

The hotel lobby was nice and bright and airy and the staff were grreat too. They have a day spa there to and I highly recomend a massage when you get in off the plane

The hotel is situated just on the outskirts of the city but still close enough. You just need to walk a block and you reach the start of the Esplanade strip that is famous in Cairns
