After spending Thanksgiving Week in Gulf Shores, Alabama for vacation and the wedding of our youngest daughter, we drove peacefully homeward arriving at 9:17 pm. Upon opening the door to our beloved house, in one step told us something was dreadfully wrong. Nothing had been disturbed at first glance, but the second step was squishy, the third was splash.
We had 4 inches of water on our floors. Frantically we shut 3 water valves off from the back of the house to the front. The back was about 2 inches on carpet in the bedrooms closest to the bathroom. We moved splashing all the whil
