[koshkha, 24/09/2009] I first started visiting Bydgoszcz in 1993, going at least four times a year to visit a customer who was based in the city over the next 8 years or so. In the early days there were very few international standard hotels and the customer had a deal with the City Hotel which enabled me to get a good price and be confident of a decent standard of accommodation and safety. It was always said that the customer had in fact worked closely with the hotel to ensure it was up to the standard of their employees and visitors.
