[catsholiday, 07/09/2011] The hotel is situated within walking distance of most areas in Buenos Aires and is close to the main railway station. The entrance is modern looking with gold revolving doors, there is at least one doorman at all times to welcome you in. The lobby is quite spacious and very well appointed, there are flower arrangements on tables which are fresh and look welcoming. The reception desk is on the left as you walk in to the hotel and they will also change money at a reasonable rate here. On the right hand side is an open looking bar with comfortable seats and tables. At the back of the hotel, throu

The rooms are small and dated but thats not a great problem....the big concern is that they are so hot that you need to leave your window constantly open in the middle of winter.
All they offer you 10 types of pillows as they want to gaurantee you the best nights sleep you ever had, they should simply give you a wooden bench like you find in a sauna.
I could not recommend this hotel except to people used to living in the tropics without Air conditioning.
[natashawar0964qw, 06/08/2010] I stayed two weeks at this very cute boutique hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The suites were very nice decorated, ample and clean. The location is the best one in Buenos Aires. There are restaurants, pubs, museums and parks nearby; only a short walk from any place. Just go!
[Electryka, 23/04/2010] very good place !!!
[Athos79, 30/03/2010] We stayed in Ultra Hotel for 15 nights and were really pleased with our choice. The hotels location was absolutely ideal, so close to the amazing shops of Palermo, excellent bars and restaurants and a short cab ride into the micro centre when you fancy a trip into the center, no more than ten minutes. The hotel itself was very cool, the decor being dark and masculine and the whole vibe was a kind of 'mis-matched luxe'. We had room ten and for two weeks it was a perfect size, perhaps I could have had more wardrobe space but then, I doubt many people stay there for that long and I'm sure it woul

[h_gregorio, 25/03/2010] Went to Buenos Aires on a business trip, and Casasur full filled all my needs. It's location in Recoleta and near Alvear street adds a special condiment to all de Hotel amenities and details. Strongly recomendable..
[accomodationreviewer, 17/03/2010] Hostel Nativo is one of the most disgusting places I have stayed in. From their website they will have you believe that they have a lovely establishment. Photos of “construction detail lead to thoughts of a wonderfully renovated old building. They boast all sorts of things on their website that just simply aren't true. And they post misleading photographs like the one underneath on this page. This is not Hostel Nativo!
Beside the disgraceful kitchen, the bathrooms are appalling. As is the amount of smoking done throughout the building, even in banned zones!
It is more like a squat house tha

I know that it is the oldest and most celebrated cafe in B.A. and that famous writers, intellectuals etc have requented it but there are a number of other cafes that are more appealing e.g. El Federal in San Thelmo.
The real downside of Tortoni are the waiters _ they are surly, slow and quite frankly look as though they are just not interested. They certainly do not have any sense of humour.
I will, however, concede to the Cafe con crema being well worth the money - due to the fact that the cream can be adde

[Bigmac52, 18/11/2009] The Musee d'Immigration in Buenos Aires is tucked away near the Buquebus Terminal ( from the city side go to the Terminal and turn left on the main road - the Musee is 1000 yards along on the right.
I was most impressed with the Musee as it had a number of interesting artefacts left over from the days when Immigrants ( mostly Europeans) arrived to make a better life for themselves.
There are many photographs and huge murals - it is however, lacking in major exhibits. It wouldn't cost the earth, for example, if a local school ( s) made some life size models of men and women dressed in per

[dariobak, 20/10/2009] Beautiful decoration... this place is magic. Service and staff are great, I met excellent people here who helped me a lot during my stay. If you want to visit Buenos Aires (San Telmo), this is your place.
[uchauru, 04/10/2009] I stood there with my wife 3 nights.
Rooms are always clean, nice decoration everywhere. Very Argentinean stylish and next to any kind of transportation.
We really recommend it.
[Bigmac52, 02/07/2009] This restaurant was a fantastic experience !
Good choice of salads / meats / Seafood etc for the Buffet starter.
And then the meats just kept on coming until I was all " Meated Out"
The wine ( Malbec) was also very good. I couldn't do the Postres just an Expresso
All of this with a backdrop of Puerto Madero
For 2 this cost about £50 ( about ARGS $310 )

[escoesco, 20/06/2009] Hostal Abasto is a perfect place to meet people and enjoy the surroundings of Buenos Aires city life. The staff was very considerate and welcoming. Close to shopping and on the corner of the subway line that will take you anywhere in the city. Great for youth, adults and artists alike.
[FischerK, 18/05/2009] Perfect in every way. Tailor Made Hotel is a great concept in boutique hotelery. Hope some day to find more places like this. Probably this is the first and last time I writte a review but in some way I really feel I have to share this experience with others. Clap clap to the staff and cheers to the ladies who run the hotel. Hope to be back someday in the future.
[marksoirot, 19/02/2009] After a 3 night stay in Moreno Hotel, it was a great experience.
The Rooms are really big, a clean. Public areas are carefully detailed. The staff is fluent English talking, friendly and really helpfull.
It is a beautiful ArtDeco building with a modern touch.
The location it is central all the way. Steps from Puerto Madero, San Telmo, Plaza de Mayo and 10 minutes from Palermo.
Great place for a getaway
[Ausje, 20/03/2008] We took our daughter to the zoo for the day when we were in Buenos Aires and she loved it. It is nicely set out and easy to get around on foot and with a pushchair. There are some animals (maras and geese for example) wandering loose, which is wonderful for small children as they can look at them from up close.
It might be better to take food with you if you want to eat while you are there as the food available is mostly hamburgers.
Our daughter was just as enchanted by the playground as the rest of the zoo of course!
