[more]Kalvin Apartments were opened in Budapest in 2004 - located in the city centre of Budapest at Kalvin Square close to the River Danube - in a multi-flat house at the beginning of the road to Ferihegy - Budapest international airport. Main tourist sights of Budapest are within reach (the National Museum and Museum of Applied Arts) by the nearby public transportation facilities. Váci Street (the traditional pedestrian zone of Budapest) is just a few minutes walk. The Gellért Bath is 2 tram stops away. The neighbouring area (as many other places in Budapest) is famous for its cafés, shops and restaurants (Ráday Street).
Soundproofed windows of the studio apartments (ca. 28 sqm in size) have a view onto the street. Each apartment has two beds or a double bed. Air-conditioning (surcharged) or non-smoking apartment is available upon request. The apartment is equipped with:
- ADSL internet connection (wired or wireless)
- TV-set
- radio with alarm clock
- kitchenette with: refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, coffee / tea machine, pots and pans, electric hob (hot plate)
- bathroom (shower, hair-dryer).
We supply bed linen, sheets, blankets, towels, toilet paper, iron and ironing board. Washing machine is not placed in the apartment but laundry service is available upon request.
The apartments were designed along the same internal architecture principles; so despite the slight differences each apartment mostly offers the same space and comfort.
The person who hands you the keys when you arrive at Kalvin Apartments will provide you all the necessary information regarding your stay in the studio apartment and in Budapest. We hope we make your stay in our city a pleasant and comfortable one.
All taxes are included in price. Since Kalvin Apartments are self-catered accommodation breakfast is not included. Payment in cash upon arrival (no cheques or credit cards accepted). For long stays we apply individual prices.
Please note: minimum stay is 2 nights (minimum 2 nights' fee must be paid). Important: minimum rates below apply from Nov until Feb for 2 people in Winter, maximum rates for short stays in other seasons of the year (except New Year, Easter and Formula-1 holidays).
