We stayes in the hotel for 3 days. We love historical cities but prefer modern hotels, and this one suited us very well. The staff were very helpful, and the 'boss' a real character. Everywhere was imaculately clean, and as the weather had turned quite chilly the week before we arrived it was always a delight to come back into the welcoming warmth of the hotel. The location of the hotel, just under the castle wall, was very convenient, especially nice for an evening stroll. The gate into the old town was only about 200mtrs away. The location was also good for the metro, with the nearest entrance about 500mtrs. An enjoyable breakfast with plenty of choice was was included in our deal, but as we thought the dinner menu in the restaurant rather expensive we didn't eat in the hotel. Our tips are, don't miss a session at one of the outdoor spas and use your photo I D or driver's licence with photo to gain free travel on all pulic transport if you are a pensioner.
