If you have a couple of hours to spare, this place is worth a visit. However if you're not interested in houses, customs and such - you might not like the place.
[walttermann, 09/10/2010] Excellent services from the arrival till the last day. Staff very polite and helpful. Very good coffee and delicious breakfast with new tasty items such as pizza, salads and fruit cakes. Lovely garden with Air Condition during the summer. There where 40 degrees outside but we could enjoy coffee near flowers and trees at a much lower temperature from this Air Condition for outside. Everything is shining in the room and cleaning is perfect. Free Wi-fi at excelent speed.
I will strongly recommend this to my colleagues and for sure come back the next times - since I am here for the 3rd time.
[cocosinho, 10/09/2010] Very helpful staff, very comfortable rooms, fully working business centre: highly recommended as an alternative to the usual international hotel chains.
[ioanamircea29, 28/07/2010] So much noise for nothing! Room is incredible small and furniture is from plastic. Beds are so small and they say that if you need bigger you should put the 2 beds together by yourself because it is not their business. To have space to move yourself into the room you can put the beds up! No parking at all and no garage as they write everywhere, we had to park on another street.
[lauradaria, 25/07/2010] Great location and good taste design in all places. The room has everything new in it, you can feel it and it smells like new. Free internet at high speed.
[gsdgsdgg, 21/07/2010] Very Bad is like a bus station or train station very old and not clean.
[fizzytom, 20/06/2010] When you are traveling for a longer period of time without any concrete plans, arriving in a capital city without any pre-booked accommodation can be a daunting prospect. A few days before we were due to travel to Bucharest we met Unrest (actually Ernest, a charming Swiss) traveling in the opposite direction to us who recommended we try Hanul Lui Manuc. We recognized the name having seen it as particularly recommended in our Lonely Planet and we tried to make a reservation via the hotel’s website but this function appeared not to be available.
When we arrived in Bucharest we headed straight

I've booked the Denmark appartment of Romvision, near the center of the city, three minutes walking distance of a metro station. The accomodation was excellent and everything contributed to make you feel like home. Bucharest is a capital with plenty of sightseeing (various monuments, a wonderfull village museum), delicious food (including bretzels from bakery stores even inside the metro station!) as well as very nice pubs and shopping malls! Tip: Walking through the four ma

[TraveloCeea, 21/07/2009] Well, what more can I say? My title says it all: perfection! I have payed in June 2009 only 49Eur and I got the best treatment possible: gorgeous room with balcony, excellent reception service and my favorite type of omelet (cheese + bacon)! Really, what more can you ask for?
One thing though: next time they told me to ask for a king-size bed! ;-)
[ChocolateLady, 01/08/2008] Otopeni Airport in Bucharest, Romania has come a very long way over the past 15 years. Its gone from being cramped, crowded, dingy and dark, to being light, airy, welcoming and efficient. This has become a truly lovely little airport, if a bit shy on space and security.
The first time I visited the Henri Coanda International Airport we had to walk the tarmac to get from the plane to the terminal - we weren't even given busses to take us because it wasn't far enough away. Crowds of people were milling about trying to get their passports seen to all while waiting outside. In short, this was

This hotel, which was built to be a hotel, later tansformed into a bank and has been remade back into a hotel again is a touch of old world charm at a reasonable price. The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable, the amenities almost five star quality and even the food is good.
