great hotel, right in bristol city centre across the square from the bristol hippodrome theatre.
hotel restaurant & bar menu are both reasonably priced, but there are loads of restaurants just a few steps away from hotel.
had a lot of trouble trying to work out the heating in the room as the instructions were missing from the hotel folder, might be better and more practical if the were on the wall beside the controls, also thought the lighting in room was not the best, very hard to read with bedside lamps. also the tea tray is situated in a cubby hole beside the built in wardrobes, but you have to remove the kettle from the area and find a plug at other end of bedroom, it seemed that the room had been recently refurbished so its a shame they never thought about plugs etc.
staff were all very plesant.
