According to the author this guest house is "quiet" and "countrified B&B". Its style is more typical for "Cotswolds than central Bristol". Its location is "a fine spot on the edge of the Bristol Downs".
The hotel overlooks private gardens and some of the rooms "have stunning views across the Downs".
The rooms, according to the author, are "fresh" and "light-filled", with interior "filled with antique furniture and flouncy trimmings", although some guest may find the interior "to be a bit too frilly".
We are also said that the rooms are "tasteful and elegant". The colors inside are "relaxing" and tones of "cream and beige".
The author also finds that the atmosphere is "homely", because of some "thoughtful touches".
