A large lake and duck pond forms its main focal point but there is also a wildlife garden and a scented garden that has been developed for partially sighted visitors. Facilities include a children's playground, sandpit, tennis court, café and toilets.
The park is open daily during the summer months from 10.30am until 5.30pm but only at weekends during the winter
