The hotel, which has been built in 1850 in Grade II Georgian housing and remodelled in 2004, has been awarded both a SEETB 4 Diamond Rating and a Silver Award. It offers sea views from some of the guestrooms. Brighton and Hove's King Alfred Leisure Complex is just opposite the B&B as well as a number of shops and restaurants.
