It's the perfect place for rest and relaxation and there are fantastic views of Braunlage from here. The rooms are clean and although pretty dated, they have all the amenities you need. They serve a nice breakfast with a good selection of food and dinner is also served in the restaurant. There's a nightclub on the 10th floor where you can get some nice cocktails and they sometimes have a live band. The pool area is spacious but can get busy as the hotel fills up. The location is ideal for wintersports, just a couple of minutes walking distance to the cable car and there's parking at the hotel for around 10 euros.
