[PeterHales, 20/04/2009] We booked room number 2 for 4 nights as we wanted a room with an easy chair for relaxing (no soft chairs elsewhere in the INN). When we arrived room 2 not available and we were put into room 1 (very small and dark). Loud noise from the bar in the late evening meant no sleep possible until after midnight. No car park. We booked out after one night of our four night booking and they charged us for the one night (plus food etc) PLUS our deposit. Terrible place. My advice stay away.
[StevenH, 13/04/2009] Very unwelcoming, we were kept waiting on arrival. Locals unfriendly towards outsiders (Non- Country / hunting folk). Was given specific time for breakfast only to find an empty room apart from a drunken male grunting in his sleep next to the bar. Totally unacceptable at £80 per night. No apologies or refund offered for deposit or room fee. Checked out after 1 very noisy night (were due to stay 4 nights). Not as friendly towards visiting dogs as indicated on their website. Would not recommend.
