[hannah_i, 12/07/2011] If you're visiting Stockport, Manchester or the North West generally, Bramhall Hall is probably one of the first attractions to be recommended. The building itself is a beautiful example of a Tudor manor, which is in great condition and has lots to do in the surrounding park, gardens & forest. The manor itself is mostly interesting on a historical / architectural basis, so I would mostly recommend this to older children upwards. It really makes for a great day out - have a look round the quaint house, go for lunch in the nearby cafe or bring a picnic to eat in the sprawling gardens, and after sp
