Beautiful Birdland
For Christmas, my boyfriend bought me and weekend away in the Cotswold for me, my boyfriend and our two dogs. We actually stayed there last weekend, which was the last weekend in March. Description:	Birdland is home to more than 500 species of birds including England's only group of King Penguins. There are more than 50 aviaries on site. Located near the centre of Bourton on the Water, the park is involved in active breeding and conservation programmes. The park covers 7 acres and includes both outdoor and indoor environments for the birds including a Desert House, a Tropical House, and a special Toucan House. A gift shop and refreshments are available on site. Opening Hours: From April to October - 10 am to 6 pm November to March - 10 am to 4 pm Prices Adults - £5.25; Children £3.25; OAPs £4.25. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leads. For special occasions, gift certificates are available for feeding the King and Humboldt Penguins and also for 'Keeper for a day' experiences.
