Frommer's has an interesting Outlook on this hotel

[koshkha, 25.05.2008] The hotel has previously been part of more than one chain but in its current incarnation the owners have "outdone every chain motel" in town with a hotel that's "fun, fresh, and definitively Boulder". It's got lots of "unique perks" such as two "bouldering rocks" (presumably for climbers) and a "4,000-square-foot dog run".

But it's also the attitude of the owners that's special, with their "ecologically conscious" ways and their "comprehensive" adherence to recycling. The building is "brightly painted" with rooms that are "larger than average" and "contemporary". There are recycling containers in every room and "all-natural" cosmetics in the bathrooms - two touches that Frommer's think to be "distinctly Boulder".

There's a "superb" indoor pool and a bar and grill offering "live music" three nights a week and frommer's thinks this hotel is worthy of two of their stars.
