[David, 09/08/2010] I was on a business trip in Botevgrad, town about 50 kms from Sofia and in the center of the town I saw a high about 30 m clock tower in baroque style, which surprised me very much. This style is not popular for Bulgaria and especially for the small towns. It looks more like Spanish tower, much far from our traditional style.
Later I learned that the tower with clock is part from the 100 national tourist monuments program.
I admit that I spent about 10 minutes to watch it from all sides and to wonder what that strange beauty does in this town.
