Frommers gives a "very highly recommended" rate for the USS Constitution. This ship was one of the United States "six original frigates". It was also very successful "participating in 40 engagements and capturing 20 vessels" and having "never lost a battle". The ships nickname is Old Ironsides. The name was earned in battle with HMS Guerriere when shots "bounced off its thick oak hull as if it were iron". The frigate was sailed for the first time in 116 years in 1997.
