Frommers points out that this "legendary" hotel got a "complete" make-over in 2002. The guests have been "proper Bostonians" and celebreties since the opening. In terms of amenties, the second Ritz-Carlton of Boston and the Four Seasons are superior, but the "style" of this Ritz-Carlton compensates for that. The rooms are "elegantly appointed" and well equipped (offering b. ex. "feather duvets", "crystal chandeliers" etc.). The rooms with views are more expensive, while the suites even offer fireplaces. Frommers rates this property with one Frommers stars, meaning "Frommers highly recommended" [more]
