[Brazilbum, 11/08/2008] Bonita Springs is a beach community that neighbors the bustle and hype of Naples Florida and Fort Myers Beach in southwest Florida. It is a great alternative to the more up-scale and hurried pace of the resort communities that surround it. Besides the Grayhound Dog Track, its singular attraction is its calm waters and shell filed white sand beaches. However, for nature lovers there is the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary owned and operated by the National Audubon Society and acclaimed as the crown jewel of the Audubon's sanctuaries.
