Find out more about Bolzano
Bolzano-Bozen is situated at 265 meters above sea level in a vast, sunny basin where the Adige-Etsch and Isarco-Eisack River valleys meet. It is surrounded by magnificent mountains and spectacular high plateaus, overlooked by that incomparable Dolomite backdrop, the Rosengarten-Catinaccio. Its favourable geografical position at the point of contact between the Mediterranean and Mitteleuropean civilizations has allowed Bolzano, in the course of history, to develop a respected tradition in trade and fairs.
