[ynraf, 19/09/2011] tired dated rooms, dont think the wardrobes nor the bathrooms have been replaced since the 80s, shower pressure very low, lack of facilities. We were in a large group and the difference in things provided from room to room were vast, our room had no toileteries, iron or ironing board, our trouser press was broken, and we were not provided with bottled water. other rooms had some or all of these items in place.

[fizzytom, 26/06/2010] When I heard where my friend was getting married I really wasn’t convinced. It was described as a hotel complex that had been designed to look like a little country village. However, on arrival I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, this hotel complex is actually a conversion of some farmhouses that were originally built in the 18th century plus some newer buildings. Accommodation is either in the main building where you’ll also find reception, a restaurant and the bars, or else in a separate two storey building that is shaped like a U and looks over a lovely garden.

[frankiecesca, 14/08/2009] I cannot fault the hotel in one huge way as it did what it set out to do - provide me with a clean (although smelly because I wouldn’t wait!) room that served it’s purpose of allowing me to enjoy the wedding without a drive home the same night. The staff were all very helpful and the function room is definitely a great feature - however the hotel is apparently 4 and for me I guess I had expected better because of this - I have stayed in better 3 star hotels and I think realistically the hotel has mainly been able to become 4 star because of being bale to provide a function room that can perfor
