[RamonaJ, 03/01/2010] Baan Bophut is absolutely idyllic and enchanting - a home away from home.

This unique hotel is situated in its own private bay in the North East of Koh Samui with its own private beach in a natural cove. The selling point of this hotel is that it is built in natural surroundings without damaging any of the natural flora or fauna and is eco friendly. [firagg72, 04/06/2009] My partner and I recently spent a few weeks in Thailand, split between Chiang Mai and Koh Samui. We chose Baan Bophut on direct recommendation of a friend who had stayed there before. The hotel itself is beautiful and sympathetic to its beach fron location. Special mentions go to Lucy the manager and Tik the beach barman. The food was great too. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Baan Bophut for indulgent relaxation.
