Explore the lively suburb, filled with brightly-coloured houses from the 17th and 19th century, or visit one of the many beautiful Mosques in the vicinity. Other attractions in close proximity include museums, several 4x4 and cycling trails as well as a number of beautiful beaches. Every day at 12:00 a cannon is fired atop Signal Hill, marking Cape Town’s oldest tradition.When driving from the airport, just continue along the N2 towards Cape Town city centre. Please make sure you follow directions to Cape Town. From N1 or N2, continue around the city centre. As motorway ends, it becomes the M62 (Buitengracht) towards the Cableway. Follow through 4 traffic lights. After passing the Xtreme car sales company (big red X) on left hand side of road, turn right into Upper Bloem. (A brown and white sign board with Signal Hill Lodge pointing right is on the centre island of Buitengracht). Take immediate left into lower Buitengracht street (do not proceed up coble road of Upper Bloem). Follow road to end until L Bend to the right - becomes Carrisbrook. Follow road to top of hill until L Bend to right. Turn Lfirst left into Military road. We are the last house on the right with grey Fence.
