[hpt100, 10/02/2009] The hotel is basic but the service offered by the staff stands out very helful.
The hotel is clean, tidy and the housekeeping good. My room was not spacious but what space that was there; was well appointed and was kept clean. If I was to be fussy the bed could have been more comfortable.
Fellow guests did say that rooms could get hot - even in Feb 09 - when all of Southern England was in hysteria about snow in London etc.

[frankiecesca, 03/01/2008] Ah the Pleasure Beach!!! This is one of favourite places to go in the UK not just for it's rides but just because this was the first theme park I ever visited when I was younger and so therefore it will always be a classic funfair and fun day out!
Back years ago as some of you may remember, the Pleasure beach operarted it's rides on ticket systems with each ride costing a certain 'number' of tickets. So for example the Big Dipper would have been three tickets as back then this was one of the bigger rides. Smaller rides would cost just one ticket and you could buy as many as you wanted from

In it's hayday, many years ago, it was be a thriving holiday resort with many visitors throughout the summer. As a cold and windy resort the holiday season would have ended by September. However with dark nights Blackpool begins it's illuminations season and has a huge display of lights and

[Mickie28, 07/03/2006] Situated on Queens Promenade in Blackpool's North Shore area the New President Hotel is an ideal place for the holiday maker. Right by the sea which is a glorious place to take walks and breathe in Blackpool sea air. If you have never experienced the sea at Blackpool then you could not be better situated since a walk across the road takes you straight onto the beach. You can sit on benches overlooking the Irish sea. In season the promenade can get fairly busy, but there is usually a place for you to sit down. The President is located only a ten minute walk from the town centre and a short
