Situated on Queens Promenade in Blackpool's North Shore area the New President Hotel is an ideal place for the holiday maker. Right by the sea which is a glorious place to take walks and breathe in Blackpool sea air. If you have never experienced the sea at Blackpool then you could not be better situated since a walk across the road takes you straight onto the beach. You can sit on benches overlooking the Irish sea. In season the promenade can get fairly busy, but there is usually a place for you to sit down. The President is located only a ten minute walk from the town centre and a short tram or bus ride from the many attractions.
Blackpool tourists are well known by their "kiss me quick hats", candy floss and Blackpool rock. Something to watch out for though is games stalls where a man tries to get you to play for teddy bears and other prizes. Watch out because you will lose your money and come away empty handed most of the time. The game stall men look out for people that look obviously like holiday makers. A lot of people come to Blackpool for hen or stag nights these tourists usually are the one's to wear the hats or some other clothing that will give the game away.
Blackpool is a nice place. It is a good place for families where you can take your children for donkey rides on the sand. Blackpool has a pleasurebeach, sealife centre, zoo, park, theatres, bars, pubs and nightclubs. It is a place where you never need be bored, but you will need money because to do the activities can be expensive.
The President is one of many hotels in Blackpool, but I recommend this hotel because of it's ideal location and it offers 65 centrally heated en-suite bedrooms equipped with all facilities. The good thing about this is that you will not be stuck for a room as there are plenty in this large hotel.
The hotel also hosts The Atlanta Restaurant which offers superb cuisine with a range of menus to choose from. The food is good value for money and you will enjoy a range of good healthy food.
The cost of the breaks are not too expensive. You can expect to pay anything from £45. This includes a family entertainment programme of disco's and cabaret which is available nightly during the summer months and weekends year round.
There has most recently been a television series that profiled The President and made this hotel even more popular than it already is. The series was aired on BBC1 and called (Hotel on Sea) You do need to book this hotel to avoid disapointment. There is a minimum 2 night stay: 1,2, 27-30 May, 26-29 Aug, 23-27, 30 Dec-2 Jan, 14-17 Apr. Minimum 2 night stay incl Sat: 1 Jul-6 Nov
