good
[09.09.2008] This pub was not a traditional English pub as you would expect, but more of a mix of Parisienne with English pub culture. I went to this pub on two different occassions and had two very different experiences. The worst thing was that it was so pricey at seven euros a pint and the draught beer selection wasnt great but the bar man was excellent - friendly, welcoming, entertaining and enthusiastic. Regular sporting eve [more]

[09.09.2008] The hostel is located in the 18th district (Lamarck-Caulaincourt) of Paris and is easily accessible by metro, which you can use to navigate around the city easily. Although the staff were cold and sometimes even rude, the hostel itself is clean and safe with good security. With only a few complaints, generally it was worth the money paid but is more ideal for those travellers wishing to sightsee rather than enjoy the [more]

[07.08.2007] This club is one of the biggest in Wolverhampton and for this reason it is not always packed out because of the new competing clubs in the area. It has a school disco feel to it and is not the greatest in design. However it can be relied upon if you want to go out somewhere casual rather than dress up and the drinks are reasonable for the area. There are a lot of regulars at this club but it is not offputting because [more]

[07.08.2007] I visit the Frankfurt Christmas Market every year in Birmingham because it is so festive and the food is absoloutely amazing. It is located conveniently right by the train station and in the pedestrian zone of Birmingham off the main shopping street and is open day and night. It brightens up Birmingham with the German style stalls selling everything from clothing to crafts to delicious German food. It is always lit u [more]

[30.07.2007] I would say that along with Mega Park this is one of the best places to go on PLaya de Palma. Although I took me a while to find this place as it is not located directly on the front and had to be told about it. It is all German but it really is a great place to spend an afternoon or evening although it can get quite crowded at night. During the afternoon they have a happy hour which makes it much more affordable alt [more]

Traditional Christmas at Fairlawns

Travel date: December 2006
[25.07.2007] I have stayed at this hotel many times and have never had a problem with it but as I mentioned it is more for couples ro families after a quiet short break away from it all.If you can drive then you do have Birmingham nearby but otherwise it is extremely difficult to get around. We keep going year after year at Christmas time because you will not find a better roast turkey and trimmings and the restaurant is really u [more]

very good
[07.07.2007] The Bullring is located in the middle of the city centre of Birmingham and is accessible from both trains and buses. The place itself is not particularly well designed because the ground floor is one big area, the first floor is then in two where you have to go outside to cross over to the other side and the top floor is also split into 2 but has no bridge connecting the two sides and so you must go down a floor and [more]

pretty good
[07.07.2007] The hotel itself is charming but the staff service let it down a little and we weren't exactly welcomed with open arms. The restaurant was quite awful but the thing that makes this hotel is the location and views. Everything is in close proximity to this hotel and the beach is across the road. One of the highlights was seeing freddy Kruger in the hotel lobby because the film festival was on. This hotel is great if yo [more]

Disneyland Hotel, Paris

[04.07.2007] this hotel will not disappoint any child. it really is magical and on the numerous times iv visited it has lost very little of its appeal whether i am 5 years old or 18 years old. one of my favourite memories was when we first went when it opened and at check in i saw mary poppins and bert dancing on the grand staircase. you will not regret going to this hotel if you have children. Palma Bay Hotel

Travel date: June 2007
[04.07.2007] It may seem like I have rated the hotel lower in the sub categories but overall i had a fantastic time at this hotel. Although its not the best hotel, you get what you pay for and its pleasant, clean and safe. If you want a typical english holiday its not the place for you as you may struggle to find other english people here. [more]
