[youngjayjay, 19/07/2011] Hotel was run down, so noisy with airport close by. Breakfast was cold, overcooked and poor sausages. Staff mostly foreign and not interested. Would not go back. No wonder this was on a groupon offer who the hell would return????
[Jean1, 04/08/2009] Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights bed & breakfast at the end of July 2009. On arrival, after a long journey, we were kept waiting & our presence was not even acknowledged at reception, whilst the receptionist was dealing with a problem encountered by the customer in front of us. Our room was a luxury double, having been recently refurbished. It was located at the rear of the hotel, directly above the large and noisy extractors from the kitchen, and there was considerable aircraft noise from Stansted, with planes taking off every few minutes.
