We visited this hotel last weekend with some family and friends. Though we are not very demanding people, we were very clear with our priorities. We needed a place with lots of open spaces and/or a pool - (we had kids with us and they need something to do), good large rooms (as we were 2-4 people per room), and the food had to be good (our kids are pretty demanding). This hotel met all the above mentioned criteria and did it well too. The hotel was pretty busy (due to the long weekend) but as its a pretty large property, you don't really feel crowded. We were met with some friendly faces who checked us in, carried our luggage, and gave the kids some candy (lol - very smart!). The pool area and restaurant was very nice in the rains. The hotel is very green in general, which was great because that makes for some great pictures. The rooms were very big with extra couches, dressing area etc. Their bathroom is the size of some of the hotel rooms we have stayed at. My wife loved the drapes and bed covers etc in the 3 rooms we booked(all rooms are different color-themed). The food was the best part but at times, the service was a little slow. They were nice about it though and called us and let us know if the order was getting delayed. We understand that the hotel was full but the kids got restless at times for the food, so by day 2, they had caught on to what needed to be done. They started sending the kids orders first. smart. The server, sanjeev i think his name was adorable. Though they have swings and the pool etc for the kids, I feel that they should get more activities for the kids, like game shows, etc. But no complaints. This is a beautiful place and should not be missed. Its also across the road from the national bird sanctuary. For us, the best part was the place and the food. Stayed August 2011, travelled with family
