[18/09/2007] Fancy an "expert massage"? Or maybe an "aromatherapy bath", run by the "Bade-Butler", with "rose petals and a glass of chilled champagne"? Or even a "a session in the spa", which the Lonely Planet Guide say is "Not to be missed". That's what the Ritz-Carlton proposes.
The entrance to "Berlin's newest temples of luxury" is announced by a "discreet logo and a liveried doorman". The "ambience of effortless sophistication" includes a "delightful French brasserie", "a luxurious spa, and a clubby bar with 400 types of schnapps".
The lobby is "elegant", with a "sweeping staircase", "cream-and-black marble" and "lushly upholstered furnishings", which gives an "atmosphere of effortless sophistication".
The Ritz-Carlton has "two restaurants" "serving gourmet fare" and you can appreciate "classic afternoon tea". The Debrosses restaurant is "an 1875 original". In the evening, "the bar is the place to ferret out your favourite" schnapps.
It is situated on the Potsdamer Platz, near to the "Filmmuseum" and a "state-of-the-art cinema in the Sony Center"
It is considered to be a "celebrity magnet since its opening", it is only 1 minute from the U/S-Bahn station exit.
